Frequently Asked Questions about
Wedding Photography.

Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SHOOTING WEDDINGS?

A: My very first wedding I photographed was in 2018! I officially went "full-time" with wedding photography in 2020. Before jumping in full-time, I did second shoot weddings with other photographers and did do a few workshops to expand my experience prior to me going solo. Photography is a continued learning experience where you have to continue investing in yourself to grow as a photographer/business. As a lead photographer now in my own business, it's been fun!

Q: WHAT DO YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTIONS INCLUDE?

A: All of my wedding photography collections include delivery of high resolution professionally edited digital files on a custom wooden flash drive. Other available services are tangibles are engagement sessions, additional photographers, photo albums, personalized wooden wedding boxes (made by your very own.... Kidding. It's my husband that's the woodwork guru). I love including little personalized hand-crafted items made by myself or my husband to all my couples as a thank you from me to you!

Q: DO YOU BRING BACK-UP EQUIPMENT TO THE EVENT IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION?

A: SURE DO! I have two camera bodies - both cameras with dual slot memory cards. Which means if one memory card getting corrupted (for some reason) there is a second memory card in place that backs up your images! Also you'll see my lugging around my camera backpack, just know I'm carrying around 3-4 lenses and 5+ camera batteries.

Q: DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

A: Yes and No. If you are within a 50 Mile Radius of West Bloomfield, Wisconsin, there is no travel fee. If you are outside this radius, I do have small travel fee. My travel fee is $.60/Extra Mile. This goes the same for engagement sessions (if it's included within your wedding collection). If you are outside that radius and are looking to set up your engagement session, we can certainly meet in the middle to bring you to the 50 mile radius, to waive the travel fee! Plenty of couples have done that, but if you have a dream location near you or someplace else outside the radius, lets go! I love new places!

Q: WHEN CAN WE EXPECT OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS BACK?

A: 6-8 Weeks is the typical turnaround time for your wedding photos. I do send out previews/sneak peeks 48 hours after the wedding day that are sent out through an online gallery!

Q: HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I REALLY NEED?

A: There are a lot of variables involved here, but the short answer is probably at least 8. We offer a 6 hour package and that's tempting to a lot of people but the six hours coverage is really best for people who are having a very small (think elopements) weddings with very few guests (less than 40) and very short receptions or no reception at all. If you want photos of things like getting ready, details, and reception coverage ofa t least the toasts, cake cutting, then you need to plan for at least 8 hours of coverage. If you'd like to have the least amount of stress or if you'll be changing locations during the day )such as from hotel to church to reception venue) then I'd recommend 10 hours.  Please factor in couples portraits, wedding party and family/friends. It's not that making photos takes a long time, its getting ready to make a photog takes up all our time together. Walking from one area in the garden to another takes time. Arranging the train of wedding dress takes time. Helping you relax takes time. All those little things add up quickly and before you know it, portrait time is over.
